Eufaula Public Schools would like to welcome Nick Yarbrough to the Ironhead family as the new High School Girls Basketball Coach.
Coach Yarbrough is from Fort Smith, Arkansas and has been teaching and coaching for 8 years. He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith with his Bachelors in Science, History with Social Studies Teacher Licensure. Coach Yarbrough then went on to Concordia University Nebraska where he earned his Master of Science, in Athletic Administration.
For the past 4 years he has been an assistant boys basketball coach and head golf coach at Northside High School in Fort Smith, Arkansas. While there, Coach Yarbrough helped assist the basketball team to 2 state finals winning 1 championship and helped coach 2 Gatorade Player of the Year. Before that, he was the head boys basketball coach 7 through 9 grade at Trinity Junior High in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Coach Yarbrough also was the assistant girls basketball coach at Holdenville High School for a year.
Coach Yarbrough has been married to Micah Yarbrough for 8 years and they have two kids Falcon, who is 2 years old and Jersey, who is 5 months old. Coach Yarbrough enjoys playing pickup basketball, going golfing, fishing, playing board games, and cooking. He is also a huge Dallas Mavericks fan and Arkansas Razorback fan.
